Come get your feet wet, explore the wonders of Blue Hill Bay and learn about our most important resource – the Ocean!

Led by experienced naturalists, campers will build knowledge and appreciation of life in our waters and along our shores, and become better stewards of the ocean environment.

Camps and Costs
Activities will begin at the MERI Center. Most programs will take the campers outdoors and utilize the habitats surrounding Blue Hill Bay.

Ocean Explorer Camp (Ages 7-9)
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00–12:30.
$75 per week
Explorers will participate in hands-on ocean science activities, outdoor recreation, storytelling and games.

Ocean Investigators Camp (Ages 10-12)
Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00–12:30.
Fridays from 9:00–3:00
$125 per week
Investigators will go on field trips, identify marine species, collect samples, work in the lab, and become acquainted with marine sciences while uncovering the hidden secrets of the ocean.

Waves to Watersheds
Water is constantly on the move – investigate the Blue Hill Bay watershed from the stream to the ocean.
Explorers: July 31 and August 2 from 9:00-12:30

Inspired by the Sea: Ocean Art
Sketch, paint, sculpt – create amazing ocean art using seaweed, sand and shells left by the sea
Explorers: August 7 and 9 from 9:00-12:30

Snails, Whales, and Trails
Marvelous animals of all sizes inhabit the ocean – uncover the secrets of these creatures and the fantastic world where they live.
