BLUE HILL – The Marine Environmental Research Institute (MERI) announces the start of theWinter 2005 Ocean Video Night series on Friday, January 28 at the MERI Center for Marine Studies in downtown Blue Hill. Ocean Video Nighttakes place on Friday evenings at 7:00 p.m.
The Winter 2005 Ocean Video Night series is entitled “Secrets of the Ocean Realm.” Subjects include the predation techniques of sharks and marlins, survival strategies employed by jellyfish and anemones, animal behavior in coral reef ecosystems, and the marine animals of Cocos, a tiny island 300 miles off the west coast of Costa Rica. The series’ selections and dates are the following:
